Watsabi is a flat monthly fee. Getting an AI assistant onto WhatsApp the "official" way is not — it's a stack of moving parts, and the bill climbs as you get busier. Here's exactly how we estimate the comparison on the pricing page, with real numbers, so you can check our working.
What "doing it yourself" actually costs

The catch on "free": WhatsApp's own reply fee is $0 — when a customer messages you first, your replies within 24 hours don't cost Meta anything. But you still pay the provider to route each message, and you still pay to run your own AI. The free part is only Meta's slice, not the plumbing.

Why Watsabi can stay flat
Watsabi links your existing WhatsApp the same way WhatsApp Web does, and bundles the AI, knowledge base and shared inbox into one plan. There's no provider to rent by the message and no LLM to build and host — so the price doesn't climb when you get busier. That's the whole trick.
